《Faculty Recruitment》—The Ph.D. Program in Asia-Pacific Regional Studies, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, National Dong Hwa University is recruiting one full-time faculty at the level of Assistant Professor or above
Position to be filled:
One full-time faculty member, at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.
Appointment term:
Second semester of Academic Year 114.
Qualifications:
1. Applicants must satisfy at least one of the following conditions (multiple may apply), and possess a background in the humanities or social sciences:
(1) Hold a doctoral degree (in Taiwan or foreign) recognized by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
(2) Hold a certificate qualifying them as Assistant Professor or above from the Ministry of Education , Taiwan (R.O.C.)
(3) Be able to obtain the doctoral degree before assuming the position (a graduating student).
2. Applicants should have expertise in one or more of the following fields: Asia-Pacific regional (cross-cultural) studies, international communication, cultural communication, social and cultural theory, Taiwan and Asia-Pacific international affairs, digital culture studies, etc.
3. Applicants must have experience teaching in English, and each academic year must offer at least four doctoral-level courses in English.
Applicants should submit a teaching plan listing at least three courses (Please refer to the Ph.D. program curriculum planning at: https://sys.ndhu.edu.tw/aa/class/RuleSearch/rulebasic.aspx).
4. Preference will be given to those applicants with relevant research outputs and practical experience in English teaching in the above fields (this is an international Ph.D. program taught in English). Applicants should provide supporting documents.

1. Curriculum vitae (including list of publications)
2. Academic and work credentials (including dissertation). For foreign degrees or experience, applicants must submit authenticated or validated documents: diplomas and transcripts, service certificates, certification by overseas authorities or domestic notary translation, a study record summary for teachers with foreign degrees (if holding a doctoral degree, the total enrolled duration in the foreign institution must be at least 16 months; if master and doctoral degrees were studied concurrently, the total duration should be at least 24 months), annual immigration records (applicants who are foreign nationals or overseas Chinese are exempt) - one copy each.
If the applicant has postdoctoral experience or served as Assistant Professor or higher, please include related documents.

6. If holding the qualification of Assistant Professor or above, please attach a photocopy of the certificate
