1. Each student is assigned a general adviser when the student first enrolls the Program. Before the second semester the student has to choose the adviser.
2. Minimum course credits taken before graduation are 28 credit hours, including compulsory courses 13 credit hours and elective courses 15 credit hours. A fulfilled Ph.D. dissertation is required.
3. Become a Doctoral Candidate the student has to pass preliminary examination. The examination will be arranged by the adviser and the student’s doctoral committee.
4. The student has to demonstrate academic abilities via two journal articles be published before graduation.
